the first time I shot fireworks was at this years riverside festival.
I didn't want a mass of fireworks in the shot or the trails of firwork smoke so had to choose my shots carefully.
I knew exactly where the fireworks would be shooting from and judged where they would be exploding, I found my possition on this side of the river (county hall) locked focus on to something on the other side of the river judging this would be a relevent distance.
With focus locked I started shooting at ISO 100 F/8 with an exposure time of 2 seconds.
