Snap! The Moon.

Here's my attempt. I've used the same lens as Chris, but this photo is shot on my 5d, so the original is 21megapixels which I've cropped heavily. Interestingly, I've used radically different settings (ISO, Shutter and Aperture) and ended up with pretty much the same photograph! There's been a small amount of tweaking of the tones in LR3. Discuss:

ISO50, 200mm, f32, .25sec

Should have added that I really need to shoot this early in the evening when the moon is larger.

Snap indeed, I can see a whole series of moon photos being added to my collection :-)

I've tried this a few weeks ago, with my 70-300 lens, however, I just couldn't get it right, plus it's not the sharpest lens around!

I wanted to catch the clouds wisping across it. Maybe lightroom can help on the ones I did take.
But basically using a setting to get the clouds illuminated... then the moon was usually too bright. More work required....
