30min 5D Mk3 Test Shots

So we tested the 5D3 yesterday (thanks John) ....These are some of the shots.
Most are straight out of the camera, with a little cropping and converted to jpg.

One is the RAW file processed through Photomatix.

The following were taken using the Sigma 85mm F1.4. EX DG

 Focus on the white sweet.

 Focus on the sign.

 Convert to B&W, focus on mortar between M and R

 In Camera HDR ... A little overcooked for my liking.

 Another in camera HDR.

 Focus on the white flowers through the trees.

The following were taken using the Canon 24-70 F2.8 L a\t various focal lengths

 Focus on the centre of the flower (one for Chris ;)

 Focus on the flower.

 Focus on the Ladybug.

 General shot focus about 1/3 up the frame.

My first impressions:

This is a very capable Camera ideal for Wedding and Portrait Photog. The two lens I used focused spot on first time every time which shows the quality of the AF. The inbuilt HDR needs more work but this was only a 30min test so I would need more time to get the best out of it.

In conclusion .... I want one!
